2.) Have skills in makeup artistryEstheticians are also beauty consultants therefore they have to know how to apply makeup that will flatter and enhance their client’s face. They should also know which cosmetics to recommend to them that will best work with their skin color.

3.) Assist in medical procedures — Estheticians are tasked to assist and collaborate with doctors and plastic surgeons in terms of pre-operative and post-operative care.
