I would like to sign up
I would like information on beauty school
Hi Alena, for more information and to sign up for school, you will want to contact the admissions counselor at the Renton Campus. Her name is Jenna and you can contact her at (425) 243-3272 or jenna.takahashi@evergreenbeauty.edu. Or would you like us to pass along your information and have Jenna reach out to you?
I would like information on signing up to do nails that’s the only thing that intrestes me. I’ve called several school and said I had to do all hair skin and nails… so if you guys can please let me know if I have to learn all of those things or can I just go to school for nails!! THANK YOU.
Hi Crystal! In Washington State, if all you want to do nails, you can enroll in just a nail program. Cosmetology does give you the ability to do nails and hair, but if nails is all you want to do, then I would suggest you finding a nail program. At Evergreen Beauty College, we do offer only a nail course that is much shorter than the cosmetology program. I would recommend calling one of our campuses to meet with our counselor. I will also pass along your email address as well for you.
How long is your cosmetology program?
Hello Nicole, Thank you for the post. Our cosmetology program is about a year if you are going to school 3 days a week. How long have you been thinking about school?
how does schoolwork right now due to covid-19?
Madeline, depending to the school, there may be different options. Some have introduced different schedules or moved to teaching students in cohorts, some have moved to the hybrid program, etc. It’s best to reach out the schools in the area and am sure they’ll be happy to share.
Do you have to have a high school diploma to start cosmetology school?
Depending on the school, yes. Most accredited colleges are considered post-secondary, so they do require a HS diploma or GED.
