1 How can I schedule a tour?
There is no alternative to touching, seeing and feeling the Evergreen experience! We strongly recommend touring our campuses and meeting our staff and future professionals (students). Call our admissions team at 425-336-5120 to help you or you can call directly to a specific campus (Mount Vernon 360-755-6446), (Everett 425-423-9186), (North Seattle – Shoreline 206-542-1111), (Renton 425-243-3272), or (Yakima 509-960-7741) to schedule a tour or send us a message through “Take the Next Step” and to let us know a time that is convenient for you.
2 Is your school accredited?
Yes. Evergreen is Nationally Accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts & Sciences. There are different benefits in attending a school that is nationally accredited; call and we’ll share.
3 Are all programs available at all campuses?
Program offerings are dependent on the campus. Please give us a call and we’ll gladly give you the details or visit our individual location pages to see!
4 What scheduling options do I have?
Each campus offers and varies different schedules. We offer a 3-day schedule that allows you the flexibility of attending Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. We also offer a program Monday – Friday and evening programs. Lastly we offer Make-Up Artistry classes day time and night that are 1 – 2 days a week. Please give us a call and we’ll gladly give you the details!
5 What if English is my second language?
Our Student Body is extremely diverse in age, background, etc. We have people from all different backgrounds from all parts of the country and world. Our students have come from as far away as from the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Korea, Vietnam, India, Congo, etc. which makes for a very exciting learning environment. The training is held in English, but we are willing to consider special accommodations such as allowing supporting tools such as translation dictionaries and apps to assist you.
6 How can I pay for school?
We have a very talented team of financial counselors to assist you. We have many different options from individualized payment plans to helping you apply to many types of funding (depending on your qualifications) from Pell grants, federal loans, student career loans, scholarships and more! Call our financial aid office and we’ll work through it together. There are some programs where you won’t have to make any payments while you are in school until 6 months after you graduate.
7 If I am a veteran or am unemployed, do I qualify for additional benefits?
There are a number of different programs reserved for individuals under these circumstances (e.g. VA benefits, Worker Retraining etc.) Give us a call to find out how to apply your benefits.
8 Will I get a job after I graduate?
At Evergreen, our students have some amazing opportunities to network through our connections with the leading salons and spas in the country. These networks have lead to some of their employments BEFORE they even graduate, and not just with any salon or spas, but the leading salon and spas in the Northwest such as SEVEN, Regis, Valentines, Supreme Cutz, Sense Nails, etc.! Some of these are actually founded and lead by Evergreen Graduates! Call us and we would be happy to share with which ones!
Although no school can ever guarantee employment, there are many ways that we support you in your placement including possible externship opportunities, career boards, business plan development, etc.
