I graduated from Evergreen with the best skill set and training in the field I could have asked for. I graduated from their Everett location and am so excited they are bringing a location farther north… this is a great school and the education you get from it is definitely above others I looked at before choosing Evergreen. The staff are amazing and can’t wait to see the future professionals this school can bring to the industry at the new location.

I am a recent graduate from Evergreen Beauty College, and looking back at my school experience, I am very thankful I chose to study cosmetology through Evergreen. Having interacted with many professionals in this industry, I know I have received an excellent education. For me, this was the most important aspect in choosing a school. I was so impressed in fact, I was willing to make the 163 mile journey from Lynden to Everett. This was a sacrifice I was willing to make because it is an investment in your future. The education you receive is the foundation for which you build everything else upon, and I can confidently say I have a solid foundation.

More than just a superior education, Evergreen also has one of the most impressive school staffs I have ever interacted with. As cliche as it sounds, Evergreen is so much more than just a school, they really are a family; and when you join this school, you join their family. My experience would not be what it was if it was not for my incredible educators. Each educator is very supportive, they push you and truly care about you as a person.

However none of this would be possible if it were not for Evergeen’s founders: the Treu family. They are truly an inspiration. Moving to America from Vietnam during a time of unrest, they came here with nothing. However through hard work, sacrifice and God’s grace they have been very successful. What an incredible testimony, but not only that, what better gift can you give your students then the gift of inspiration?  Evergreen has encouraged me, fostered my dreams and reinforced the importance of work hard. I personally have been very impacted by the Treu family and their story.

I am very happy I went to Evergreen Beauty College, and I highly encourage anyone  looking into the beauty industry to get in contact with Evergreen, take a tour and come to school here!!! You will not regret it!!!!

Words cannot express how excited I am that Evergreen is opening up in Bellingham. I have been waiting for them to open up a beauty school up North for years! I graduated from this school back in 2010 and after 8 years I have continued to stay in contact with them. I can honestly say they have changed my life and shaped me to be the professional I am today. The owners (the Trieu family) are such an amazing family and have set such a wonderful culture to come into and learn. The educators aren’t just there to teach but to build a relationship and help you exceed in all areas of your life. You literally become part of a family. As a former salon manager in Skagit County of 4 years it has been extremely hard to recruit with the lack of beauty schools in the area. I have never been disappointed with an Evergreen graduate. I think one of the best things they offer is their Nuts and Bolts business program. It teaches you the business aspect of the field and how to successfully build and maintain a clientele along with the retail and marketing aspect. When hiring, these are the things we look for. This will help prepare the future professionals for life out of beauty school and sets them apart from others. I am thrilled to see the impact and the graduates we will have in the Whatcom & Skagit County area!

I will forever be grateful for the Trieu family, the Evergreen staff and the impact they’ve had on my life.

My classmates were other licensed professionals that were like me; we wanted to grow ourselves and our careers.  I learned more about myself in 3 months than I think I have my entire life.  This program is not what I expected but it was what I needed. Not only am I prepared to be an instructor, but I am more excited than ever.

The Instructor Training Program was an amazing experience. The schedule was also super flexible! Only going to school 2 days a week made it possible to continue work full time as a Make Up Artist and a licensed Esthetician.

It was also extremely affordable; I was credited for my industry experience (300 hours) which reduce the program tuition by half, and there was also financial aid, which made things even easier for me to pursue my goal. 

I can’t believe how many CAREER options I have now because of my Instructor’s license! With the skills that I learned, I am now substituting at a skill center in Vancouver Washington while I am training for a Salon Business Consultant! I am so happy that I attended Evergreen Beauty College. The experience was better than I could have imagined.

I’m asked all the time how do you like your new job? My response: “When you have a job you can go into every morning smiling and happy, you’ve found my spot.”  ‘What’s not to love?’ as I ask myself.  Working for the Trieu family has been a blessing. They have a set of guiding principles that are incorporated throughout the company that makes working for them very easy.

What keeps bringing me back to Evergreen is the family atmosphere … that’s what made me want to go to Evergreen as a student and that’s what makes me come to Evergreen as an educator … and that’s what keeps me here to this day. “I love my job” here at Evergreen Beauty College.

Working at Evergreen Beauty College was the best choice I could have made as a second career decision. The job satisfaction is incomparable to anything I have ever experienced in my past.  I have been teaching as an Educator in Esthetic at Evergreen Beauty College now for over 3 years. I never thought I would love it so much.
