6 Tips to Achieve the Best Natural Makeup Look

When it comes to makeup, there’s an infinite number of combinations and styles! While you can put a rainbow of eyeshadow over your eyes and look amazing, sometimes it feels great to go for a more subtle (while still gorgeous) natural look. Here are some tips to help you achieve a natural makeup look you can use every day to still look glam while going to school.

    1. Prep First
With a natural makeup look, you’ll want to start with a strong base: your natural, glowing skin. Make sure to moisturize well to get a smooth surface to work with. The first step to ANY natural makeup look is your skin.

    1. Skip the Foundation
Some foundations can look “caked on” if applied too thickly. If you want to achieve the best natural look, try going without it. Instead, use a tinted moisturizer or a light, matte powder to smooth the complexion of your face while still showing your natural skin.

    1. Work with Warm Brown Eyeshadows
If you’re looking to achieve a more natural look, skip the blues, golds, greens, and purples. Instead, go for a more neutral brown eyeshadow. Not only do browns look great on multiple eye colors, but they help achieve an overall more natural look.

    1. Focus on the Lashes
While it’s hard to go without mascara, the best part to a more natural makeup look can be the lashes. Skip the eyelash extensions and the fake lashes. Instead, use a little bit of black or brown mascara to add a little pop, but don’t go too far.

    1. Go for a Cute Lip
If you want to spice up your more natural look, add a light pink, peach, or neutral color to your lips. Better yet, go for a tinted chapstick with SPF to moisturize, protect, and color your lips. You can make your lips look smooth without the hassle of dealing with lipstick on your teeth.

  1. Add a touch of color
When going for a more natural look, add a touch of color to your cheeks with a warm blush. If you choose to add blush to your natural look, make sure not to use too much product. Instead, only add enough to create a warm glow to your face.
