Almost everyone can say that at some point in their life, at least one of their friends either had the passion to do, or actively did hair in the bathroom, garage or kitchen at home.
More often than not, people discover their passions and decide what career path they want to take when they are young. Whether it be a doctor, police officer, or hair stylist, they discover their passions and interests and make the decision. Different experiences trigger different discoveries and interests.
Sometimes in life, people are lucky enough to be given second chances. When those types of things happen, you usually do everything you can to take advantage of them and make the second time around so much more amazing than you would have ever imagined.

Congratulations to one of our May Digital Marketing Award Winners, Cindy Khuu, from the Cosmetology department at our Bellevue campus! Cindy will soon be on her way in the beauty industry as she just recently graduated!
We are excited to announce one of April’s Digital Marketing Award winners, Charity Robinson, a Master Esthetics student studying at our Everett Campus. Charity has already been in both the esthetics and medical field for a number of years prior as a makeup artist and a medical assistant.

There is a vast array of reasons why people decide that beauty industry is where they are meant to be. Whether it be that they grew up in the salon environment because of their parents, or that they always loved doing their dolls’ hair as a child.
