Our signature Barber program is offered at our North Seattle location. According to Google, Evergreen is the highest rated program in Washington State and our Barbering classes allow you to concentrate in the area you love most. Many of our graduates work in local salons, shops, and own their own businesses. But they all started with the same first step: Enrolling in our Barbering program. If you live outside the North Seattle commute, as part of our Hair Design program, we offer a concentration in Barber for those who want to focus their training on this growing industry.

What You’ll Learn At Our Barber School
Our Barber program focuses on design and cutting—from traditional to ultra-trendy hair styles. Unlike other schools, we even teach you a classic and luxurious barbering art: shaving facial hair with a straight-edge razor. You’ll gain valuable experience working with real clients in our campus clinic floor.

Admission Requirements for Barbering School
All applicants for admissions must:
- Be above the age of compulsory education in the state of Washington (16 Years Old).
- Present proof of High School Diploma, its equivalent (or higher), a transcript showing high school completion, or a certificate of attainment. The school does not admit ‘Ability to Benefit’ students.
- Provide a copy of a valid state or federal issued photo ID.
- Apply, be interviewed and accepted for the chosen program.
In addition to meeting the above Admissions and Enrollment Requirements, prior to starting classes, students must:
- Submit a Registration Fee to the College.
Barbering School For Flexible Schedules
Our schedule flexes with you. At other beauty schools, you’re in class 3 days a week for over 10 hours a day. It can be exhausting. At Evergreen, our EverFlex classes are just 4 hours a day. Plus there are online assignments you can complete at your convenience. Not only is it more humane, but it’s a more focused way to learn as you prepare every day for a career you’ll love.
