Hairstylist/ Associate Stylist Chocolates Cherries & Blondes professional, fun and creative team is looking to bring another friendly face on board. We want to keep up with the growing demand of our clientele. We are looking for someone who is passionate about beauty, goal oriented and ready to build a career in this rewarding industry. Love what you do and make lots of money too! Our Salon is dedicated to growing our stylists! You are the heart and soul of our company therefore we invest in advanced education, team bonding and creating an enjoyable experience for all of our wonderful clients. We have had featured artists such as Ruth Roche(celebrity stylist), Kenny Berk (global design educator), and Nanette Guild (Pureology Artist) along with many other talented educators. At Chocolates Cherries and Blondes we believe in enjoying life and family and practicing work and life balance. To help our team members work smarter not harder we have a career plan for each team member. Our career plan includes working 5-6 hour shifts strategically placed at times that new clients are most likely to enjoy, as well as sales goals and a clear plan on how to advance to each level, every advancement earns a raise and a choice in schedule change. Every level receives one on one coaching sessions to plan and set in to action each individuals financial and schedule goals! Apprentice/Associate Program: This program is ideal for stylists new to the industry. As an apprentice you will work with a high level stylist who will teach you how they built their clientele, help you perfect your skills and teach you fun and advanced techniques they have acquired over the years. Apprentices will also be invited to all advanced education classes and still enjoy the monthly coaching sessions to set goals and make action plans to achieve them. The apprentice level is on average 3-6 months long but is tapered to the needs of each apprentice's education and goals. Apprentices get to do hair! You will perform shampoo services, finishing services, and color applications side by side with your coaching stylist as well as receive clients days where you can take your own clients without your coach. During the apprentice program you will be paid hourly plus tips. Hair Stylist: If you have already gone through an associate or advanced training program or if you have more than 2 years experience in a salon, you may be able to skip our apprentice/associate program and start on the floor. Your stylist level that you would start at would depend on your current clientele. |
