During the time that Hether Remus has been at Evergreen Beauty College at the Bellevue Campus, she has been a wonderful student in not only the classroom but also the student salon. In the classroom, she has maintained a 98% GPA, has had outstanding attendance and will graduate nearly two months ahead of schedule due to her participation in our Fast Track Program and Externship. On the student salon, I have witnessed her assist others in building their skills sets, helping a number of students increase their retail and upservicing goals. As a winner of October Nuts and Bolts Student of the Month, she selflessly shares her experiences with others, not fearing that they are her competitor, but rather a teammate that will push her. There is saying that “The fastest way to achieve your goals is to help others achieve theirs” which is very true for Hether; helping others helped her achieve the Nuts and Bolts Student of the Month again in the month of December.

As you will see in her video, she started off from a very difficult position, rebuilding her life after having made some serious mistakes. Her story is inspirational to so many and having her be considered for the award of Cosmetology IBSY truly would be testimonial to the power of Nuts and Bolts.

We are excited to see her grow and contribute to the salon that she will work in and the industry.
