Evergreen Beauty College Santa Event

Last weekend, December 6th, I got to help out at my first Santa event at the Renton campus! This special event has been going on for the past 3 years and now that I’ve been apart of one, it’s one of my favorite events we do throughout the year!
Evergreen Beauty College closed down the Renton and Everett campus for regular services and academics for a few hours to give back to the community. The future professionals at Evergreen offered free haircuts & styles for kids K-12, free sparkles makeup, free hand microdermabrasion treatments, free mini manicures and of course free pictures with the big man himself, Santa Claus! Spirit 105.3 helped out at both campuses and there were free hot cocoas, coffees and other goodies given away as well 🙂
During this event Evergreen’s Future Professionals offered over 1,000 free services!!

Everyone had a great time during the event but the Future Professionals especially loved it. ” What I liked most was pretty much giving back to the community and seeing all the smiles from all the styles and cuts I did on all the kids,” said Joseph Elizalde, a Cosmetology student from the Renton campus. Esthetics student Alyssa Pavlick said, “Seeing all the cute little kids getting so excited about Santa and getting sparkles.” All in all it was a very successful event and I can’t wait till we do it again next year!
