The Benefits of Getting An Esthetician Facial Massage

The benefits of getting an esthetician facial massage for your skin are numerous. They’re helpful not only to your skin, but also your overall wellness, and so, are very important for everyone, regardless of age or gender.

Professional Esthetician Facial Massage

When performed correctly, facial massage can specifically provide:

  • Increased circulation
  • Detoxification
  • Stimulates for increased sebaceous production
  • Oxygenation of skin tissues
  • Help release toxins trapped in tissues and muscles
  • Hydration to the skin by bringing nutrients to the surface
  • Increased lymphatic flow
  • Nerve relaxation
  • Ease muscle tension

Nearly every skin condition can benefit from massage, but it’s necessary for the right massage to be performed on any given client, depending on their particular skin problem. Massage for inflammation caused by acne or rosacea, for example, can provide great healing to the wounds as it increases circulation to encourage natural skin repair.

Unfortunately, not all traditional massage techniques are appropriate for such conditions, which could make matters worse. Alternatively, a light massage will encourage blood flow with necessary oxygen, thereby killing anaerobic bacteria that actually causes these breakouts.

You Will Look Better Following an Esthetician Facial Massage

Naturally, the skin improves with this stimulation and the results are immediate. The increased blood flow to the face increases cellular oxygenation, which decreases naturally with age.

So, you’ll have a more youthful appearance, and say good-bye to the dullness. As such, massage will greatly benefit smokers and those who travel by plane, because suffer from limited amounts of oxygen in their complexions.

It’s also a great way to release stress, a number one killer and cause of numerous conditions like eczema, or psoriasis, digestion problems, heart disease, and more. Stress also causes premature aging, leading to fine line and wrinkle formation.

Finding Qualified Estheticians

Having said all that, it’s crucial to find a qualified and experienced esthetician that can provide the results you’re looking for, with regards to your appearance and health. For instance, Evergreen’s salon services are ideal because their highly trained staff provides expert salon/spa services at a fraction of the price that many other competitors charge.

While some might turn to technology and mechanical massage, they may be causing themselves more harm than good. Moreover, the mechanical massage simply can’t compare to the sensitive touch of a human. It takes a great deal of knowledge and understanding of the skin and the different conditions to provide the perfect stimulation and optimize benefits.

Over-stimulation may work against your efforts, which is another good reason to look for someone with the right certification. If you’re experiencing any skin condition, or are aiming to implement an anti-aging routine in your life, then a professional esthetician facial massage is right for you.

I didn’t know that cellular oxygenation is decreased as you age and that you can increase it by getting a facial massage. My biggest worry is that I will look really old and wrinkly in a couple of years. I’d do anything to make myself look younger.
