Current students in the Seattle area should know about Tint Seattle’s teach-out agreement with Evergreen Beauty College – Renton. This can help you utilize your Tint education to achieve your cosmetology goals, even if you weren’t able to graduate at Tint. Here’s everything you need to know.

1. Transfer All Your Clock-Hours

As part of the teach-out agreement, Evergreen Beauty College – Renton has agreed to accept all clock-hours earned by students enrolled at Tint Seattle Beauty School before the school closed down. 2. No Unexpected Increase in Fees

Evergreen Beauty College – Renton has also agreed to charge the pro-rated hourly tuition rate Tint Seattle Beauty School students had originally been contracted to support Tint students during this transition.  This means you can secure your originally contracted tuition fees, while completing the remainder of your education at Evergreen Beauty College. 3. No Excessive Purchase Requirements for Transfer Students

Typically, when you sign up for a beauty college, you’ll have certain purchase requirements to start your beauty journey. If you’ve already made these purchases through Tint Seattle Beauty School, good news: You don’t need to repurchase the same tools to pursue a career at Evergreen Beauty College. You won’t have to purchase a new kit other than supplementary supplies you may not have in your kit from Tint Seattle Beauty School, as long as those supplies are used regularly at Evergreen Beauty College. Evergreen Beauty College also requires you to have a branded apron and a new name tag when you transfer.
