Commitment: A military wife’s story to the esthetician industry

Watch the above 5 min. video of Jenna Jones (International Business Student of the Year nominee) share her inspirational story.

Failure to plan is planning to fail. This is not the case for Jenna! When I first sat down with Jenna and had her share with me where she was going….she knew with no hesitation. It’s not every day you get the privilege to meet a future professional that is so goal oriented and has her priority’s straight.

When I shared with the future professionals that we only have three more months until we decide on who will be representing Evergreen Beauty College Bellevue, WA in Long Beach, CA and she stepped right into my office and the first thing out of her mouth was “I want to go…..what do I need to do?”

At this point I asked Jenna what she wanted to focus on. She shared with me a story about a LOL (little old lady) that had come into the spa and was obviously not having a good day. Jenna was so nervous and wanted the service to be over as soon as possible. After Jenna was done she said she truly understood what she was here to do and what her purpose is.

During this LOL’s facial she started asking questions and Jenna was able to answer her questions, this guest starting smiling and gained trust in Jenna. She even bought over $100.00 in retail! Jenna said “It was at that point I knew I was here to help people and give results not just sell things.

Jenna is a military wife and a mom. Her husband was deployed during the time she was in school and she drove over 50 miles to get here each day.

She is planning to succeed! I can’t wait to hear about Jenna Jones new adventure in Virginia.

Please share this to other military wives out there in hopes to inspire them to go for the dreams!

Interesting story, sometimes happens to me as well when I can help someone in my salon just because i mean it and not because i want to sell, so in this way you build a relation with your customer they trust you they will come back with other request too plus they buy from you too!!
