Makeup School in Seattle
When I first started school for Esthetics a few years ago, I got into it because of my love for doing makeup. I knew to do makeup in Washington, I didn’t need a license or even a certificate but I wanted more. After I learned more about Esthetics, I knew that that’s what I wanted to do! However, for some people, they are only interested in learning about makeup application.
Now that I am working as an admissions counselor for Evergreen Beauty College, I hear from people weekly who are interested in learning more about makeup. Perhaps they want to work at a makeup counter, do makeup for weddings, fashion makeup, or to even just learn for themselves. The possibilities are endless!
With that said, does the greater Seattle area need a make-up school? And we would love to hear from anyone who may be interested in taking makeup classes, and more specifically, what YOU are looking for in a makeup school.
So, we propose this question to anyone reading this post: Should Evergreen open a makeup school or not?
Further details will be announced soon, so, make sure to subscribe to our blog so you can be the first hear more about this amazing new opportunity in the Seattle area!
If you are interested in learning more about Evergreen’s Cosmetology, Esthetics, or Nail Tech classes and kits, please contact one of our Admissions Counselors. Evergreen Beauty College has three campuses and serves the greater Seattle area. Including Everett, Bellevue, Renton, Lynwood, Redmond, Kirkland, Bothell, Snohomish and Mountlake Terrace.
I think that is a great idea!! There are no make up schools around the Seattle area that only focuses on make up! I have a love for make up and practice it on a regular basis. If you ever open up a make up academy please contact me I would love to be a part of the educator side of make up.
Thank you so much for your feedback, Grecia! We will definitely make sure to get into contact you once we have more information 🙂 And make sure to keep up on the blog so you can get first-hand information!
Oh, I miss you Ms. Grecia! Thank you for reaching out to us as well as your feedback and we will keep you in mind. Please continue to follow our blog as this is something that seems to be very interesting.
That would be super fancy!
I would love to attend a school for makeup. Learning all the techniques for the different shapes of eyes, cheeks and lips would be awesome.
This is my actual email.
Yes!
A makeup school is a fabulous idea since if you live in the area you don’t have many choices…learning about all phases of makeup would be ideal from the basic understanding of the structure of the face to brush terminology, to basic makeup applications, learning about the color wheel in conjunction with skin type and facial features would be a bonus. Then there is always bridal makeup, high fashions makeup, photography and film makeup…the whole gamut….Seattle wants it ALL!!!
I am TOTALLY looking for this kind of thing and would enroll in a heartbeat. It’s like you read my mind! I’m touring schools in the area north of Seattle, and your school and location would be the perfect place, especially if there are externship opportunities! I love learning about skin and beauty, but see myself becoming and working primarily as a make up artist or master makeup artist. 🙂
I love this! For years we have needed this!
