Digital Marketing Award: Brianna Gutierrez

Evergreen Beauty College is proud of all of our students hard work. And we love when they show it off on social media! We think social media sites like Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook promote our students creativity by allowing them to express themselves online.

This month, we’d like to recognize our cosmetology student, Brianna Gutierrez! We are giving her The Digital Marketing Award!

About Brianna

Brianna is one of our outstanding cosmetology students that is graduating this October!

Brianna enjoys all aspects of hair design, but she especially loves doing color.

“Balayage and all over color are my favorite! I enjoy seeing people freaking out about it, then always in the end, their face is just indescribable with how much joy and and excitement they have!”

Cosmetology is a rewarding career that allows beauty gurus to express themselves through hair, makeup, and coloring. We love to see the joy it brings our students when they master a new skills, and the joy that client’s have when our students give them their dream hair! Brianna says that she starts off each appointment with a “huge smile, handshake, and a compliment!”

Customer service is a large part of the cosmetology field. Brianna mentions this as a skill that she has successfully mastered.

“My strength in this program is clarifying. I always believe if you don’t communicate, we won’t be on the same page, and I know for a fact the more we discuss about what you want, we will be successful.”

The Evergreen Experience

We believe that learning about our students experiences at our school can only make us better. We asked Brianna what she thought was the most helpful part of her course, now that she has neared the end.

“The teachers are the most helpful. They are the most honest, hard women and men. They aren’t here just to get paid, they look after you. Very encouraging. Without the teachers I’ve had, I wouldn’t be where I am at now.”

Brianna said she chose Evergreen over other colleges, “because it’s very family oriented and you just feel welcomed.”

The students and staff at Evergreen feel like one big family! We understand and work with each other to make the experience as memorable and educational as possible!

The Next Step

A question we like to ask our students near the end of their time with us is where they see themselves in the future.

Brianna said, “I am hoping to be in Elle Marie. They are a family owned business, and I hope I can get my foot into that salon experience door.”

Brianna said she had a little advice for incoming students, “Be yourself. Don’t change.”
