2015 Community Impact Awards BackdropSEATTLE (October 22, 2015) – Seattle Business magazine honored the region’s most influential business and community leaders on October 21, 2015, at the second annual Community Impact Awards. A sold-out crowd of more than 360 guests at the Museum of History and Industry celebrated 26 honorees in categories ranging from sustainability to youth development.

Joni Earl received the Lifetime Achievement Award for her outstanding influence on the region as CEO of Sound Transit. The evening concluded with a touching video tribute to the legacy she has built.

In recent months, Evergreen Beauty Colleges – one of the Best Companies to Work For in the entire state – and 96 other nonprofits and for-profit companies were nominated Seattle Business magazine’s 2nd annual Community Impact Awards.  In such a competitive field, Seattle Business magazine is very pleased to announce that the judging panel named Evergreen Beauty College one of just three finalists in the state up for a  2015 Community Impact Award in the Job Creation and Workforce Development category.

Last night in front of a VIP audience of 300+ blue-chip executives, not-for-profit directors, thought leaders and community champions, Evergreen was honored at the Community Impact Awards dinner at MOHAI in Seattle with the Silver Award for Job Creation and Workforce Development!

The event kicked off with an open bar cocktail reception at 6:30 pm, followed by the first-class dinner & awards program, ending at 9:00.
