CSI: Discovering the secrets to beauty school success as a cosmetologist

Watch this 5-minute video from Geri Fuller (International Business Student of the Year nominee) as she share in a funny way her success in the beauty industry.

Ms. Lauren Campus Manager of Evergreen Beauty College in Bellevue shared, “I’ll never forget when Ms. Geri had a guest and gave him 5-star customer service. Upon checking out he shared his concern of the smell of cigarettes from Ms. Geri. Our guest coordinators gave Ms. Geri the feedback from her guest. She was very upset that the guest liked her so much but was hesitant in returning due to the smell. So Ms. Geri became a P.Ser and decided to become a non-smoker the very next day.”

After making that change for herself, Ms. Geri was business student of the month countless times. Several students made an effort win every month, but Geri’s determination was unstoppable. There was nothing that was going to stand in her way of being successful.

Geri has a very bright future ahead of her and I’m proud to have her as an Evergreen graduate. We look forward to seeing what’s in store after the Nuts and Bolts competition and we have no doubt in my mind that she will be back to be an educator. She is a perfect example of what Nuts and Bolts stands for and will continue to increase the respect for our industry!

Please share this story if you know someone that is needing a pep talk in the beauty industry.
