Where do you find your motivation as a beautician to keep going?

Watch this 5-minute video as Grace O’Byrne Evergreen Beauty College Cosmetologist’s International Business Student of the Year Nominee shares where one needs to dig deep to find their motivation to move forward during the ups and downs of changing careers and changing one’s life.

If I could think of anyone to have an opportunity like this it would be Grace O’Byrne. Her ambition to market herself and truly understand what is means to have 5-star customer service! It was amazing to see her transform into the professional that she is today; from her persistent drive to be the International Business Student of the Year.

Grace is a full time student, worker and mother. In her few moments to spare she is constantly posting on Facebook to invite people in to see her. She is constantly checking her appointment books and looking for opportunity to grow her business.

Grace has strived through a lot in her life and has landed her dream job at Seven Salon. I will never forget her coming into the office jumping up and down with excitement that she actually did it!

She has a very bright future ahead of her and I’m proud to have her as an Evergreen graduate. I look forward to seeing what’s in store and I have no doubt in my mind that she will be back to be back to share her experiences with future professionals. She is a perfect example of what Nuts and Bolts stands for and will continue to increase the respect for our industry!
