Learning with Experienced Teachers
Our nail technician students start off the day by attending classes taught by instructors with years of experience in the field.
One of our educators, Mimi Hanson, has nearly 30 years of experience doing hair and nails. Our students have lovingly nicknamed her “Miss Mimi.” She’s been an educator at Evergreen Beauty College for the past four years. Miss Mimi teaches our students the skills they need to succeed as a nail technician.
She’s an empathetic and an excellent communicator. Students say that she understands people learn differently, and Miss Mimi works to accommodate her pupils’ learning modalities.
Inspiration and Friendly Competition
Every month, the nail technician students hold a competition to see which student can do the best nail art. These competitions give students the chance to push themselves harder and do their very best work.
One of the competitions was to find a photo which would spark them to create nail art. Even the mood of the picture could serve as an inspiration. These competitions encourage our students’ creativity. They also give them the chance to see what their classmates are learning.
