Beauty School Esthetician Student in the Shark Tank

Watch the above 3 min. video as Kristina Kushner (International Business Student of the Year nominee) shares key business tips to ensure a successful career as an esthetician as she plays off the TV show “Shark Tank”.

Typically we do not take transfer students at Evergreen Beauty College Everett, WA, however Kristina was an exception.   From her initial meeting in admissions, I knew that she was not only going to succeed here at the college but will make a dramatic mark in the industry.

During her time here, she was modeled true customer service to her guests and her teammates.  She had an exceptional ability to connect with her guest.   When I asked her educator, Rodnina, about her, her educator shared, “Kristina was an incredible student.  In addition to be hard working and very talented, she had a sincerity that touched everyone that she encountered.  Her guests loved her because they knew she had their best interest at heart.”

A mark of a true leader is not where they go, but who they take along with them and Kristina exudes this.

Her fellow classmates were inspired by her, as she extended help to others wishing to grow.  One in particular was a classmate named,  Kaitlyn, who had no desire to be Business Student of the Month until Kristina showed her that it was possible.  Through Kristina support, coaching and encouragement, Kaitlyn achieved the same success shortly after Kristina graduation.  It made me so proud to see how she helped others realized their potential.

Kristina is succeeding in leading medical clinic here in our Bellevue community.  Traditionally in medical spas, results precedes experience, but with Kristina, she has blended the two experiences together.  We feel honored to have her represent our college and family.
