Choosing an Esthetics School

Ms. Misty’s and Ms. Janet’s knowledge in esthetics allow them both to provide personalized treatments for guests.

We all know those acne commercials claiming they have the fix all, end all acne treatment are just spouting myths, but as an esthetician you’ll be able to develop customized treatments for guests so that you personally can become the answer to having beautiful skin to your future clients.

Interested in studying esthetics?

With a program focused on skin analysis, you will learn when and how to use skills including galvanics, high frequency beaming, waxing, facials, skin physiology, product chemistry, and proper sanitation. Also, if you find the right college, there are a few institutes that offer access to microdermabrasion machines for students to use on guests.  Some of the local colleges where you will find microdermabrasion taught are Paroba and Evergreen Beauty College.  Microdermabrasion is the mechanical removal of dead skin to exfoliate, but there are two main differences when it comes to microdermabrasion machines. Most micro machines are crystal tipped, while some recently engineered micros incorporate diamond tips. The difference between the two micros, besides the large price difference, is the feeling on the skin. While crystal tips grind against your skin, a diamond tip is no less comfortable than a lick from a kitten! Evergreen Beauty College offers their students access to diamond tipped machines.

Leading esthetic and skincare schools believe that educating you on some of these recently developed methods for skincare will allow you to enter the industry ahead of the game and with the tools to be efficient in reaching your dreams in esthetics.  These types of schools will educate students on product knowledge and effective methods for achieving skincare goals.

From one of our local leaders in the skincare field, voted in 2011 by Modern Salon Magazine as one the top job placement beauty colleges in North America, Evergreen Beauty College’s esthetics program promotes cutting edge natural & mechanical techniques. Their students learn about how each ingredient in different products help achieve the effect of the product. With this knowledge estheticians can mix and match products in order to help clients find the precise concoction to treat their skin. Delve into understanding how lifestyle choices affect the appearance of skin and the importance of internal and external synchronicity in order to be healthy naturally.

If you’re looking for a career where you can provide answers to people’s skin needs, an esthetics education is what you should look into. Finding the right school that will give you the tools to be successful in the beauty industry is difficult, but I hope this gives you a few more points to go off of when looking at schools.  As a promoter of new technology and modern methods, Evergreen will provide you with an education that will allow you to be a cutting edge esthetician in the beauty industry.
