Essential Female Hair Care Tips

In the 1970’s, women with thin hair would not have needed many hair care tips. However, nowadays, everything revolves around fullness and volume. There is fullness everywhere. Voluminous dresses and skirts are all the rage, so it is natural that you would want to accentuate the volume of your hair as well. Nonetheless, perhaps you have very thin hair, which does not do anything other than hang there aimlessly. If this describes you, then try these sneaky tricks:

Braiding

You can braid your hair to keep it in place. Once the braids are removed, you will have wavy, thick hair which makes other people very envious. After taking a shower in the evening, put mousse on your hair. Divide your hair into segments, based on the wave size you want. Start braiding and carry on until you have two inches of hair remaining.

Fasten the ends with an elastic band and roll them using those foam pink rollers that you are embarrassed to admit that you own. When morning comes, remove the braids, then blow dry and shake upside down. This will give your hair instant body. Here’s how to remove braids quickly:

Scrunch and Crunch

If braids are not for you, but you want body nonetheless, apply some volumizing mousse and gel to your wet hair. Blow dry until your hair is damp. Grasp segments of your hair, squirt with hair spray, then scrunch the strands.

Roughly, segments ought to be three to four inches in width. Grasp each segment and scrunch it right up to the top, then fasten it using a scrunchie or elastic band.

Repeat this all over your head. Squirt all over with hair spray and allow it to set.

While you wait, you could put your clothes on or do your make up. After fifteen to twenty minutes (or however long you need to get ready), release each section one at a time, blow dry, then repeat the scrunch and squirt process. Do not over spray, as you want touchable hair, not barbed wire. Once all the hair is released, blow dry and shake upside down one last time. Your hair will look stunning.

Getting Dirty

In all likelihood, you hair looks better the day after you have washed it. Put your hair into pony tails before going to bed on the day you wash it. This looks very cute and, the following morning, your hair will have lots of body. Try different techniques to care for your hair. Work with your hair and not against it. Although it might be thin, you can still make it appear beautiful and full by following the above hair care tips.
