All About Makeup Schools in Washington

Who better to find out about what they want to see at a potential makeup school than our own students?! Since word is getting around that Evergreen is thinking or planning on opening a makeup school soon, we’ve been getting great feedback from a lot of people. I decided to ask our students specifically what they would want to learn more about in makeup school. Our cosmetology students do touch briefly on makeup application but many would like to learn more!

A number of techniques were named but the #1 response is…..WEDDING makeup! One student even said it was a “high priority”. For many, their main goal is to style wedding hair AND makeup. Specifically contouring/highlighting, photography.

A few other responses were 3D makeup, dramatic, stage makeup, natural application/every day.

I also asked our current students what makeup line they would love to learn with! And the most popular response was MAC. Evergreen Beauty College just happens to be a MAC preferred school, however, Evergreen is exploring a number of different options to find the right one!
