Mother-Daughter Spa Giveaway |Their Story|

When Evergreen posted a Mother-Daughter Spa Giveaway, we asked people to tell us why YOU should win, and it turned out that that was actually the opposite of what everyone was posting. Rather than commenting on why they should win, people were posting on why someone ELSE was deserving. And let me tell you, the comments were beautiful!

A week after posting the giveaway, the winner was randomly chosen and here is part of Norma’s wonderful message for all of the Facebook world to see on why she thinks her daughter was most deserving of this special day:

“My daughter deseves this more than I. We both have overcome tremendous hardships life has delt. Her have my granddaugher at sixteen and then my grandaughter diagnosed with cancer at 2 yrs old . Haveing a alcholic as a mother.who wasn’t there for her.
THAT WAS THEN….”

The day of their treatments, we asked Norma and Krystal what this day meant to them and you could just tell the way that Norma looked at her daughter, that she was so incredibly proud of her and so thankful that they had reconnected. Krystal had her daughter at 16 years old and when her daughter, Sunni, was 2 years old, she was diagnosed with cancer. Today, however, Sunni is two years cancer free!! Norma is also a recovering alcoholic and is now taking major strides to, not only improve her life, but her daughter’s and granddaughter’s as well.
