Our Favorite Places To Visit in Shoreline, WA

We love being part of Shoreline’s community! While we’ve found some of our favorite salons in the area, we wanted to highlight more of what the Puget Sound area has to offer.

If you’re considering an education in beauty or are currently a student, it’s important to balance hard work with a bit of fun. If you’re looking for something to do on your next night out, consider one of these five places! Which ones are you adding to your list?

1. Spiro’s Pizza & Pasta

Looking for your new favorite place to eat? Stop by after class at Spiro’s Pizza & Pasta. There are plenty of choices for even the pickiest of eaters, from pasta to pizza to salads. Reviewers say it has great service and good food, all at a reasonable price.

2. Quest Factor Escape Rooms

There’s no wonder that escape rooms have been popping up nationwide! Escape rooms are the perfect place to bond with your classmates or your future salon team. They are designed to give you and your friends the opportunity to work together to solve complex puzzles.

At Quest Factor, you can choose from a variety of themes and play styles, including:

  • Virtual Reality
  • National Treasure
  • Mad Scientist

Most guests agree that the difficulty is balanced, keeping it challenging but still possible to succeed. It’s a must-do if your group of friends is up for an adventure.

3. Shoreview Park

We can’t get enough of all the beauty in our community! Just a few miles away from our Shoreline campus, Shoreview Park is the place to be. This park has an off-leash dog park, hiking trails, and playgrounds for kids, plus: it’s completely free!

This park has just as much rich history as our school. If you can, make sure to check out the “hidden” lake.

4. Stars in the Sky

On the outskirts of Shoreline in Edmonds is Stars in the Sky. This Korean fried chicken place provides good food, and based on the portion sizes, it’s great for large groups.

Plus, something unique about this place is they’re more than food. You can also choose to do karaoke! Definitely check it out if you love to sing and want to bond with your classmates.

5. Kruckeberg Botanic Garden

Described as a “hidden gem” by locals, the Kruckeberg Botanic Garden is perfect if you want to get in touch with nature. You can stroll through the garden yourself or register for one of their many classes, tours, or events.

If you want to add one of the plants you saw in your collection, there is a plant nursery open all year round. You could find the perfect addition to your future working space!

Bonus: Prep Your Night Out at Our Student Salon

Want a new look for your night out? Our student salon in Shoreline is the perfect place to be. All services are provided by students under the supervision of licensed professionals. You can get a new haircut, hair color, and more, all at a great price!

That park is fun for any generation. The views to the cliff and, of course, to the beach are magnificent. There’s an overpass to go straight up to the beach. Some people let free dogs run but, when far from the beach. beststudentadvisors.com/
