Top Make-Up Looks for Spring 2016

Memorial Day is approaching, which means it’s Springtime and that summer is right around the corner! Spring and Summer mean fun, bright colors, whether on the cheeks, eyes or lips!

I am a creature of habit and routine so very seldom do I mix up my everyday make-up looks, but that doesn’t mean I still don’t like to check out the newest trends. Here are the Top 5 make-up trends that I have noticed for Spring 2016:

Bold brows are still in for Spring 2016, just with a more natural twist.

Bold Brows. This trend started a few years ago but doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon.

However, I’ve noticed the look is a bold NATURAL brow, one that is more feathered and not so “boxy” or sculpted.

Spring Lip

A more subdued red lip for this Spring!

Lip Color. Really you could go either way here. Natural/nudes are always trending and even though it is usually associated with the holidays and winter, a red lip is going to be huge this Spring and summer! [Make-up tip: use a lip liner not just on the border of your lips, but over the whole lip to ensure the color doesn’t move or bleed throughout the day.

Glitter. A subtle glitter can be so, so pretty, especially with the sun shining down on your lids! 🙂 I think we can thank Lady Gaga for this one!

Long, curly, full lashes are all the rage right now.

Full, Lengthy, Lashes. Whether it be band lashes, eyelash extensions, or using a serum such as Latisse to plump those lashes up, you’ll be right on trend with some flirty, doll-like lashes!

Pink Cheeks. Nothing too over the top here, just a healthy flush and could be perfectly paired with a sun-kissed glow! For darker skin tones, berry or coral colors are always a nice alternative to pink.
